Welcome to Mary Egan Acupunture! This page reviews what you can expect at your initial visit and additional information regarding scheduling. Please review the practice policies below prior to scheduling.
What to expect at your first appointment
During this comprehensive consultation and first full acupuncture session, you will receive a personalized plan based on factors such as:
Your health history
Any relevant lab results
Lifestyle & goals of treatment
Based on your consultation, Mary may recommend a blended Eastern & Western approach to help you meet your goals. This can include:
Acupuncture treatments
Nutritional counselling
Lifestlye modifications
Reccomended Supplements
Consulting on IVF and natural cycles
Pricing:
Initial treatment: $225 - 80 Min
Regular treatment: $130 - 50 Min
New clients need to call Mary to schedule an initial appointment. Once scheduled, clients will be sent intake forms via Jane to complete prior to their appointment. These will be delivered to the email address provided during scheduling.
Practice Policies
Insurance and Payment: I am a direct pay office, which means I do not participate with insurance companies directly or on your behalf. I will provide you with a receipt for services rendered. From there, you will need to contact your insurance company regarding reimbursement and coverage. Payments can be made at the time of treatment in cash or by check only. Credit cards or flex spending accounts will not be accepted.
Appointments can be scheduled by phone at 781-264-7015. Please note that new patient appointments will be scheduled for midmorning or mid-afternoon at first available to allow for more time for intake as noted above.
No Shows and Late Arrivals: All appointments are allotted 60 minutes maximum, Late arrivals will have a shortened time with Mary in order to allow other patients their full appointment time. No Shows will be charged for the full cost of the appointment.
Please note that there is a cancellation fee of $50 for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before.
